Mykonos National Airport (JMK) operates year-round with frequent domestic connections, which multiply during the high season to include direct international flights from major European cities. Year-round domestic routes connect the island to Athens (Eleftherios Venizelos), Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Crete, and Santorini.

Flight Duration from Athens: Approximately 45 minutes.

Airport Location: Situated just 4 km from Mykonos Town (Chora), easily accessible via private transfer, taxi, or local bus.

🚢 Traveling By Sea

Mykonos features two ports: the Old Port (located in Chora) and the New Port (Tourlos), which handles all major passenger ferries, high-speeds, and cruise ships. The island enjoys daily connections to the Athens ports of Piraeus and Rafina, as well as Thessaloniki, Crete, and most islands across the Cyclades and Dodecanese.

You can choose between two types of vessels depending on your schedule:

High-Speed Ferries / Catamarans: Approximately 2.5 hours from Rafina Port and 2.5 to 3 hours from Piraeus.

Regular/Standard Ferries: Approximately 4.5 to 5 hours, offering a more relaxed journey.
